↳ Theodore Nott II

| 5th Year ↔ Slytherin ↔ Pureblood ↔ FC: Francisco Lachowski ↔ OPEN

→ “It’s time to forget about the past, to wash away what happened last and hide behind an empty face.”

◆ Background

As with most Slytherin and Pureblood families, the rules for home and school life ultimately boiled down to two options: be great or be nothing. Being seen by his father as his living legacy, Theodore was taught by the man about every possible situation that would’ve been relevant thirty years ago, and though it suffocated him, he listened. While it aided him academically, it stifled him socially and he’s becoming increasingly aware of it. In a changing world where the Dark Lord is gaining support and fear rapidly, Theo isn’t confident that that he’ll ultimately know which way to turn. He’s no stranger to his family’s deeds in the past and only regrets that they ultimately failed in their efforts, even if he doesn’t truly believe in the reasons behind them.

Theo’s naturally willing and obedient is what made him a perfect candidate to be one of the first students Voldemort marked. To make sure he’d have plenty of time to heal, Theo received the mark as soon as the previous school year ended, leaving him with enough time to heal and become throughly aware of everything he needed to know about the upcoming war. Theo had never felt closer to his friends, suddenly being privy to know which ones were in the Dark Lords ranks as well. As with most of the new Death Eaters, Theo’s mind is now preoccupied, filled with ideas and anxieties, and his schooling has fallen through his grasp.

The Tournament sounds fun, sure. Not something Theo would compete in, even if he was of age, but still… fun. He’s not a history buff like the Ravenclaws, and he’s not particularly social or daring, so he’s not too thrilled by the whole idea. And all the new people just kind of generally confuse him, honestly. He’d like things to go back to how they were as quickly as possible.

 Personality

Conflicted • Obedient • Humble • Trusting • Loyal

Once Theo puts his trust in you, it’s nearly impossible for that trust to waver. He’ll practically wait on you hand and foot, believing every word you say right down to the punctuation marks, and putting his undying loyalty in you. However, Theodore has always been a bit hesitant of who to trust in the world. He soon realized that his parents are probably his best bet, and slowly began to adopt his father’s ideals as his own. After that, he found it easier to discern which people he agreed and got along with, and those people eventually led him to get the Dark Mark he now bears with pride.

◆ Connections ◆

Regulus Black : Reg and Theo have always been friends, it seems. Though they weren’t particularly close before this summer, they grew together quickly, and Theo has grown rather fond of Regulus’ untidy hair and alluring smile.

Narcissa Malfoy : Though she isn’t sure if Theo feels more strongly about the Dark Lord’s cause than she does or if he’s just more gullible, Narcissa understands the torn feeling Theo has about the whole matter.

Emma Vanity : Theo loathes her beyond belief, though it’s probably only because she and Reg are constantly making goo-goo eyes at each other. It does get annoying after awhile, especially since Theo might have some feelings of his own for Regulus.

I rather like it in Dramione’s when Ron gets all jealous and angry about their relationship and everything. But when he gets all possessive and psycho it’s just a no no, that stuff’s damn creepy and I just don’t see it in Ron. Yeah he’s a hotheaded redhead but he’s not someone to be too possessive as to turn psycho.
